Which had the greatest affect on the formation of American government:The Great Awakening or the Enlightenment?

The Great Awakening was a time of great religious activity. It was most influential among the Presbyterians, Methodists and Baptists. The Enlightenment however was based on the government of the ancient Roman ideals. Thus it contributed a great more to society as a whole.
