How many Christians believe like this?

To me it seems most Christians (as I once did) suffer from magical thinking. They believe and they hope but what good is that? I can believe the sky is green all I like, but it's not unless I'm colourblind to blue or living in Comunistafornia that it will really be green. Think about this, if you were thrown from a plane into the middle of the ocean would your God save you? Would work get done if you didn't do it? Would you be successful just sitting on your bottoms? Likewise, how can you praise something/someone you've never seen or possibly ever heard? Besides that, how can you 'praise your God' when most of you are the biggest hypocrites out there? You don't read your Bibles and quote scriptures you don't fully understand, but you certainly do judge the lives of others (the things you yourselves are very well guilty of to a much larger extent). So what's the deal?
