Is he just using me for action?

me and this guy hungout and he was shy, then we both warmed up to eachother. He had his arm around me and we were snuggling then at the very end of the night he kissed me goodnight. Im not sure if this is too much for meeting him for the first time, but me and him really hit it off. were hanging out on friday and he told his friend he might ask me out. Does he seem like he just wants action or does he genuinely like me?
