Can emails from someone else's account be used as evidence in court if the person gave out their pword?

I'm no lawyer, but I don't think that this girl can use his e-mails because she obtained them without his permission. She might want to talk to her lawyer and let him/her know that she has this information, but she probably cannot use it against her ex.
