When are we going to tear down the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Mobile?

Don't let people lie to you and try to connect the KKK with the modern democratic party. Were many members of the KKK democrats back then, yes. But the democratic party was very different then than it is today. You can even look at electoral maps for proof. The same racists that were a part of the democratic party, were from what we now know of as red states. Don't let them fool you, political parties change over time, but the deep south racists are still out there, and they vote republican.
